We initially started this blog as a way to keep our family updated on our lives.   While my brother and his family  only live a few hours away, my sister decided to move her family completely out-of-state in August of 2007.  The busier our lives tend to get, the less I seem to post.  The past few weeks, however, I have been inspired by all the different blogs I see on the web.  I am hoping that will be enough to motivate me to update our blog more frequently.  I have decided to add a few pages as well.  We are an extended family that loves to create:  whether it's food, crafts of all kinds, or some DIY home improvement/repair, I plan on documenting it all.  (Okay, fine... as much as I can, when I can, and if I remember my camera...  let's be realistic here!)  The important thing is that I'm going to try.
