We Wish You a Merry Christmas...

As you can see from the pictures, we had a wonderful Christmas with our family. We got to visit Santa twice before the big day, so we were pretty confident about what we were going to get, but he still managed to surprise us! That Santa is pretty cool! We hope all of our friends had an equally joyous Christmas with lots of family, love, food, and presents (Maeghan made me say that). Happy New Year from me and the rest of the Wulf's!!

Laughing all the way (ha ha ha)...

Yesterday was the 2nd Grade Christmas program at the girls' school. Maeghan was the cutest little elf!! She loves to sing and be in front of people, and yesterday was no exception. Megs especially loved the songs about getting socks for Christmas and having a snowball fight. Here in Wenatchee we are experiencing a little bit of coldness... I was just talking to a friend in Portland last week about how we still didn't have any snow yet. Oh, be careful what you wish for, because not only do we finally have snow (just a little bit) but the cold temperatures to go with it. It is days like these (4 degrees this morning when I took the girls to school) that make me long for a beach in Hawaii or visiting my sister in Arizona =) And since neither of those trips are going to happen in the next few days, I am going to enjoy the cold from inside my cozy house... put on some Christmas music, wrap some presents, bake some yummy cookies, maybe even enjoy a hot buttered rum at some point! Enjoy the weather (where-ever you are!!)

What we did over Thanksgiving Weekend...

We actually got to have a 5-day weekend, and that is why we had a great Thanksgiving! My sister had to go over to Children's Hospital on Wednesday morning; she had pictures taken by a camera that was inside a tube that went down her throat and into her tummy and upper intestines (at least I think that's what I heard my mom and the doctors talking about anyway). Mommy was hoping that it was going to be a movie camera and that we would get a video of this procedure, but Dr. Christie said he was just going to take some pictures and if Mommy really wanted them, she could have a copy. Anyway, we actually left Wenatchee ON TIME (very new and different for us), and we got to Children's BEFORE the appointment even started (again, very new and different for us). Mommy got us new Webkinz (I got the snowman and Kailie got the manatee) to play with on the drive over and while we were waiting. Kailie's scope only took about 20 minutes, but we were in the hospital until 1:30pm... boy, were we hungry for some lunch! We had a great Thanksgiving with Uncle Paul, Auntie Krissy, and Caden. It was also Uncle Paul's birthday (yep, on Thanksgiving), and we got him the Guitar Hero World Tour for his present. We sure had fun beating him at that thing!!
On Friday we had our pictures taken and then for some reason Mommy took us to Bellevue Square. It was crazy at that place! People were crowding everywhere, there was hardly a place to park, and tons of long lines for food. We made sure that Mommy did not stay as long as she would have liked, because it was B-O-R-I-N-G (spell it out, people). The ONLY good thing was that we got to see Santa Claus. That guy is great: we got to walk through his workshop, have our picture taken with him, tell him our Christmas wishes, he gave us each a lollipop, and then we got two stuffed animals each from him. It isn't even Christmas yet! I guess that is just how Santa rolls...
We went back to Uncle Paul's to frost and decorate some sugar cookies that Auntie Krissy made, we watched some Christmas movies, helped decorate their tree, drank hot chocolate, ate some dinner and then we went back to Bellevue to see Santa in his parade on Snowflake Lane. It was pretty neat to see Santa's sleigh being pulled by a team of 6 horses (it was Kailie's favorite part).
Saturday morning we drove home to Wenatchee, because we had tickets to the hockey game that night. We girls put on our Wild jerseys and had a great time at the game. We get to sit in the front row, pound on the glass (especially when there are fights), and cheer on the team. Go Wenatchee Wild!!
Happy Holidays everyone =)
